Ronnie Clinard
President & Founding Partner
Ronnie is a lifelong native of High Point. He and his wife, Cynthia, have two grown sons, Brad and Josh. He graduated from Wake Forest University with a Business degree. Ronnie has been a Financial Advisor for over 30 years; 26 of those years with Wells Fargo Advisors. In the community, Ronnie is a long-time member of the Rotary Club of High Point and a supporter of numerous charitable organizations including Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Boy Scouts. Ronnie enjoys travel and playing tennis. His passion for travel began as an Eagle Scout attending the Boy Scout World Jamboree in Japan. A personal highlight has been playing USTA National Father-Son Tennis Tournaments, in which he and Brad have been ranked as high as 5th nationally.
Brad Clinard
Director of Financial Design
Brad graduated from UNC Charlotte, Magna Cum Laude, majoring in Economics with a concentration in Psychology. He was senior team captain of the tennis team and worked closely with the NCAA advocating for student athletes. He has earned the designation CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. Brad is married to Hope, and enjoys her talents as a pastry chef. They attend Wesley Memorial Church in High Point. They have a passion for missions and service, most recently supporting Youth With A Mission, Casey
Cares Foundation and the Old North State Boy Scouts Board. In his “spare” time, Brad enjoys reading, movies, travel, time outdoors and great food. His adventures have included hiking the northern half of the Appalachian Trail and the Laugavegur in Iceland.
Bouakham Penley
Senior Administrative Manager
Bouakham Penley is our team’s Senior Administrative Assistant. She lives in High Point with her husband, Tim, their two daughters and their blue tick coon hound. She is a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill. Bouakham started work with Wachovia Bank in 2004, continuing through the merger with Wells Fargo. She joined Clinard Financial in 2012 and is dedicated to providing the best service to all our clients. Bouakham enjoys traveling, hiking, reading, cooking, and spending time with her large extended family.
Cynthia Clinard
Operations Manager
Cynthia is our team’s Operations Manager. She is a graduate of Catawba College, having majored in Business Administration and Psychology. Cynthia has worked with Ronnie for 30 years. Her special gift is taking great care of her sons and family, and that carries through in her desire to take care of our clients, ensuring they get the best service. Cynthia enjoys reading, cooking, and traveling.

Alexandra Zolga
Client Experience Manager
With over a dozen years in the financial planning industry, Alexandra has worked as Director of Operations at multiple Financial Planning and Private Wealth firms with an expertise in crafting outstanding client experiences. Alexandra graduated with honors from Simmons College where she received a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and continued her education at Suffolk University, receiving her Master’s in Business Administration. Alexandra currently resides in Easton, Massachusetts with her husband and twin boys. They enjoy visiting family in North Carolina. She is an active volunteer in the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation. Outside her virtual office, you can find Alexandra chasing around her twin boys, spending time with friends and family, skiing in the winters, and traveling as much as possible.
René Lovecraft
Administrative Assistant
René Lovecraft is our team’s virtual Administrative Assistant. She lives in Anthem, Arizona with her husband, Reginald, and their three pets. She is a graduate of Northern Arizona University. René started work as a virtual assistant in 2015 and joined High Point Financial Design in 2022. René enjoys theater, traveling, and reading, in her spare time.
